HD Vision Systems is the winner of the ZEISS Robotic Challenge. We were able to prevail against very exciting and innovative startups. The selection meeting took place on August 10, 2017 at the HU Berlin premises. The challenge of the competition was „Can you provide a scalable camera-based solution for 3D digitization of industrial objects with high accuracy?“
ZEISS experts not only judged the teams‘ methodological skills, but also had to decide whether there was enough diverse talent on the team to bring a product to market.
Winners were announced after presentations were made and meetings were held with each team. Gestalt Robotics took third place and Iviso took second place. The overall winner was HD Vision Systems. „They had the most interesting concept and the capabilities to bring the product to life,“ said Dr. Frank Höller. „I think this device has the potential to succeed.“
HD Vision Systems is looking forward not only to the prize money, but also to working and gaining the associated expertise and professional network from ZEISS.
