We are highly satisfied with HD Vision Systems’ solution for bin picking in our difficult conditions. For example, even hard-to-see shiny objects in boxes that are not sorted by type are detected with the automated grip. In particular, the speed with which the sensor and software have provided the robot with gripping paths is impressive.
In the platform’s ecosystem, users can download exactly the automation solutions they need from Bosch Rexroth or third-party providers. To this end, together with HD Vision Systems, we offer a modular vision suite via the ctrlX App Store that provides companies with targeted support for their individual needs.
In several joint projects, the LumiScanX system has proven itself in various applications, from defect detection to surveying tasks to the localisation of components. The combination of good resolution and high flexibility of the system make it a general-purpose tool for inspection tasks for different types of components, such as castings or fibre composite structures.
The inspection of the pivot bolts was really an exciting task that had its work cut out for it. We are proud of our performance and glad that we were able to work as a team with Sampas and HD Vision Systems to develop a good solution for our customer. Together, we are indeed the strongest.
